[Yuna isn't ever not on a mission. Today's has brought her to the railroad, pocket-sized notebook in hand as she goes through her list of pesterable people. When she spots Claire, she immediately runs over, cheerfully waving her free hand over her head.]

Mister Walken! Hey, are you busy? [She stands up straight at attention, taking a pen out from inside her notebook and holding them in front of her, poised to write something. Making an effort to sound as serious and official as she possibly can, she says,] I'm taking a survey. I have some questions for you!

[even despite his unfortunate phrasing... But she taps her notebook with her pen, trying her best to look like she is a serious grown-up survey-taker.]

[clears her throat!!]

What's your favorite color?

[...yuna, darling.]

You wanna know my favourite colour? ...Hey, what's this survey for anyway?

I do! It's a secret, though. I can't tell you why I need to know yet.

[generously]

Y'know, my birthday was two months ago.

[ All jokes aside, he considers her question again. ]

Hm... I'd have to say it's a tie between red and black. Is that answer acceptable?

[cherrypuncher]

Oh no, I missed it! [She laughs, though, and jots that down in her notebook.] It's a perfect answer, thank you! My friend Karin's favorite color is red. [There's so much fondness in her voice... She loves Karin.] My next question is if you have a favorite flower.

[generously]

Not really. [ Unsatisfied with his own answer, he pauses and reevaluates the question. ]

If I really had to pick one, then I'd take the traditional red rose. It reminds me of my eternal love for Chane! On top of that, there are stories that they come in black colours, too, but they're supposed to be really rare. I should look for it when we leave this town eventually!

[cherrypuncher]

[She giggles a little, charmed as can be that his answer comes back to being so intensely in love with Chane, and jots that down, too.]

That's a really good answer! I've heard black roses are really tough to grow, but you're likely to succeed if you try, so you'll definitely be able to find them. You know, there are those big flower fields up at the farm, so maybe you won't even have to wait until we're gone to find one!
