[WOW IS THIS FUCKED UP OR WHAT!!!!
It's starting to get late when Yuna leaves the Sheriff's Station, where she's set up her blankets and pillows for the night (she's told herself she won't sleep until she finds a way to break the doors open, even knowing there's nothing to be done for it; she'll eventually have to break that promise instead). She's off to the hotel kitchens, her eyes drier now and the rest of her a little covered in dust, to get snacks for Tiara and Natalie.

He glances at her as she starts looking, a couple of ingredients set up on the counter.]
... Hey, Yuna. [He's so tired.] Do you need help finding anything?
[He's spent enough time in the kitchen to know where most stuff is, at least.]

[She's up on her tiptoes, reaching towards an overhead cabinet she thinks has desserts in it still. Tiara likes sweets. Yuna brought her cakes and cookies and tea on that first day.]
You're up really late. [So is she, but everyone should know why, she thinks. There's concern in her voice, though, that usual urge to help, even if she isn't dumb enough to have to ask why.]

Instead, he tries for humor. It falls flat.]
... I'm nocturnal. Like a bat.
[Ba dum tshh. That's not why he's up, though, and he knows it.]
How's... [ah.] How are Natalie and Tiara holding up?
[Not well, he imagines.]

That question does, though; that thin smile of hers drops and doesn't pick back up. Still, Yuna Yuki can't be anyone but Yuna Yuki; the answer she gives is the lightest one she can think of.]
Natalie was really nice to offer to stay. She and Tiara get along really well, so it's okay for me to run out to do errands like this.
[But. No, not well; just her expression makes that clear enough.]
