week 3, sunday late afternoon

[Yuna doesn't come find Xion right away after seeing her leave the execution with Natalie, but of course she can't just leave her alone for the day. After an afternoon of ducking up and down and around the town, Yuna finds Xion in the library, and cheerfully waves from the doorway.]

Hi, Xion! [She's about her standard amount of chipper, in spite of everything.] Can I sit with you?

[She will always love Pluto, so she's happily patting his head until Xion answers her, and she scritches his ears even as she walks over to take a seat next to Xion.]

I haven't really been in here, actually. I'm not good with this stuff...

[reading. learning. being a smart person??? she's staying casual right now, though, trying to gauge Xion's comfort level a ltitle better.]

Pluto just melts happily into Yuna's hands, trailing after her like a ... well, like a love sick puppy. The sight is almost enough to get Xion to smile. At the very least, her expression gentles. ]

I like it in here. [ She looks down at her hands, folded in her lap. ] It's peaceful and private, and I can read all the books I want without getting in trouble.

[ glances up. ]

... did you want something, Yuna?

[ honestly, she knows better than to think Yuna has some kind of agenda. She's probably just worried. But she doesn't really know how to handle it right now. How to handle ... anything. ]
